By now, you probably know that in Costa Rica, many service providers automatically add 10% to your bill for a tip. That happens whether or not the service is good. Many people think that may NOT be a good business practice. We are agree strongly.
If the service provided by our drivers is not good, it hurts the client and it hurts our reputation. We want to here about it and the driver should not receive a "bonus" for doing bad work!
On the other hand, if the driver is courteous, helpful, knowledgeable and a good, careful driver, we hope that our clients will reward that type of work!!
BY THE WAY: we don't run the other people in the country nor do we control its weather!!! We try our best to get around traffic disruptions, traffic jams and so on to get you to your destination as fast as we can. BUT we can't ensure that there are no traffic jams or that the ferry company won't decide to change the schedule without giving reasonable notice.
